William Jenkins shares his expertise in neuroscience and software development with Posit Science. Prior to founding Scientific Learning, he was an Associate Professor at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Jenkins is an expert in learning-based brain plasticity, behavioral algorithms, and psychophysical methods, as well as an expert in multimedia and Internet technology. His recent research includes the development of computer exercises for teaching children and adults using neural models of brain plasticity and learning, work that has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards. Dr. Jenkins holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.
