Dr. Wade is a researcher at the Institute for Natural Language Processing at the University of Stuttgart, where his work focuses on learning how humans learn to understand speech sounds in difficult contexts. He is an expert in speech acoustics, perception, and complex auditory categorization, and as a former member of Posit Science’s core science team has directly helped to develop several of the company’s exercises.
