Harvard University Center for Brain Science
Professor, Molecular & Cellular Biology
Professor, Neurology (Children’s Hospital)
Takao Hensch is a leading brain plasticity researcher and the recent recipient of the US Society for Neuroscience Young Investigator Award (2005). Dr. Hensch’s research has focused on the elucidation of cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie experience-dependent changes in connectivity within developing cortical circuits. In his past position with RIKEN Brain Science Institute (Saitama, Japan), he directed the leading Japanese research center focused on applying a brain plasticity perspective to the enhancement and rehabilitation of the behavioral capabilities of normal and impaired children and adults. Dr. Hensch holds a Ph.D. from UCSF.

Posit Science programs and technology have been subjected to more rigorous clinical trials with researchers at more universities than any other cognitive training program in the world. And the results are impressive.
