Randall Rule conducts research at the UCSF Magnetic Resonance Unit at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, where he is initiating a project using structural MRI, MR spectroscopy, MR perfusion and MR diffusion to explore the connection between cognitive deficits and brain damage observed in individuals suffering from sickle cell disease. Dr. Rule has a Ph.D in cognitive neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley.
