Mriganka Sur brings extensive experience and a world-renowned body of research to Posit Science. Using experimental and computational approaches, Dr. Sur’s laboratory has discovered fundamental principles by which neurons of the cerebral cortex are wired during development and change dynamically in adulthood as they process information. Among many other prestigious awards, councils, and boards, he is a member of the National Academy of Sciences of India, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Royal Society of London. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Neurobiology from Vanderbilt University.
