Michael Kilgard, Ph.D.
Associate Professor in the Cognition and Neuroscience Program at the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, The University of Texas at Dallas
Dr. Kilgard is dedicated to researching the general principles that underlie the self-organizing capability of the cerebral cortex. His primary research is in exploring how sensory experience and behavioral motivation influence cortical plasticity so that these factors can be manipulated for therapeutic benefit. He employs both environmental enrichment and more targeted behavioral training to study the mechanisms of cortical plasticity. Dr. Kilgard holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California San Francisco.

Posit Science programs and technology have been subjected to more rigorous clinical trials with researchers at more universities than any other cognitive training program in the world. And the results are impressive.
