Bruce Wexler’s research focuses on characterization and cognitive remediation of the deficits produced by psychiatric illness, using fMRI, lab tests, and the induction of emotion. He is the author of the recent book Brain and Culture: Neurobiology, Ideology and Social Change. Dr. Wexler received an M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
