Athanassios Protopapas, Ph.D.
Principal Researcher, Institute for Language and Speech Processing
Athanassios Protopapas brings his expertise in computer-based remediation and therapy of developmental and acquired language disorders and disabilities to Posit Science. His research also includes investigation into the neural bases of language and connectionist modeling, as well as speech algorithms, speech recognition and synthesis by computer, and digital signal processing. Dr. Protopapas holds both an M.S. in Engineering and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Brown University.

Posit Science programs and technology have been subjected to more rigorous clinical trials with researchers at more universities than any other cognitive training program in the world. And the results are impressive.
