Rapid Naming

Instructions
How fast can you name an object, a color, a letter, or a number? Get your hand on the mouse, and get ready to start naming!

1. Adjust the volume on your computer to a comfortable level.
2. Select the mode you want: objects, letters, numbers, or colors.
3. When you are ready to begin a practice trial, click Go.
4. When you hear a word, click on the item that represents it. Continue clicking Go to complete four more practice trials. Then the background screen changes to red, indicating that practice is over.
5. When you are ready to begin the challenge, click Go.
6. When you hear a word, click on the item that represents it. Keep going, and respond to each item as quickly as you can!

Continue playing until the challenge stops automatically. When you are finished, you'll get your results, and you can read about the relationship between language skills and tasks like Rapid Naming.
