Background
Posit Science Corporation is focused on using patented technology to create a line of playable software tools/games to arrest and reverse the cognitive decline associated with aging, which can lead to Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s and senile dementia. The functional design of the software is based on proprietary research conducted by Posit co-founder (and UCSF professor), Dr. Michael Merzenich. That research earlier led to the creation of a successful public company, Scientific Learning Corporation, which addresses similar problems as they apply to child populations.
Job Description
We are seeking an intern to help with projects In the Customer Delight organization. The Customer Delight team supports and assists customers and participants over the phone, via the web and via email from our San Francisco headquarters. We are in need of a computer savvy intern to help us with projects related to our products and our Salesforce customer information database.
General Responsibilities
Complete projects related to our products and our Salesforce customer information database and actively screen customer delight calls.
Specific Responsibilities
- Run Salesforce reports
- Investigate possible duplicate Salesforce contact records and merge duplicate Salesforce records as appropriate
- Create Salesforce accounts for orphaned contact records
- Run pre-alpha software and provide feedback on the user experience
- Assist with projects that support the Customer Delight function
- Screen Customer Delight calls and provide first level customer assistance
Preferred Qualifications
- A high degree of personal curiosity and initiative to solve problems and find solutions
- Experience and competence with computer applications: standard Windows applications (MS Office and Outlook)
- An ability to organize and prioritize work
- Detail-oriented
- A willingness to do whatever needs to be done
- An ability to maintain focus in a lively and energetic environment
- High School Graduate
