By on February 12, 2010

This week I’m posting a favorite brain-related TED video each day. In this talk from TED 2008, brain researcher Jill Bolte Taylor tells an incredible story about studying her own stroke and long recovery process from the inside out. Enjoy!

That was the most inspiring , emotion-rending, thought provoking presentation I’ve heard in a very long time. Now how do we get to that state without having a brain aneurysm or a stroke.

Like me, she also had an AVM stroke (but mine was worse). Also, she is in the same mag-mine: http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/aha/strokeconnection_20090708/index.php#/10/OnePage and they use her to promote: http://www.strokeassociation.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=2533. I now get a lot from the American Stroke Assc.
